BRYAN LOVES YOU HIT AGAIN

Once again the thunder has been stolen from the producers of “Bryan Loves You”. Last month New York Post’s Page Six reported on an “open call for extras” hoax that nearly stalled production (“Phony Cast Call Vexes Movie”, 9/4/06). Two weeks ago, extremists using a popular video streaming site started posting stolen footage from the movie’s California lab. And now, days away from the “Bryan Loves You” trailer’s World Premiere, thieves have again beat the producers to the punch, somehow securing a copy of the trailer and posting it on several video sharing sites. In response, according to the Official “Bryan Loves You” site, the trailer has been posted early: www.grassrootstheory.org/bryan_trailer_start.htm.

Boll was so sick of getting slammed by his critics (Chris included), that he challenged them to a three round boxing fight in Vancouver while shooting his new film Postal. How come we never heard about it? Sounds like a great thing. If only more bad filmmakers proved they had no answer to the reviews and stepped up....

Robert Downey Jr is IRON MAN

The A SCANNER DARKLY star is cast as Marvel's latest movie hero according to Empire Online. The least likely actor to play a super hero action type, let alone to be allowed to look after the local police narcotics' stash, has been named as the new star of one of the most long awaited comic adaptations! He has indeed signed on to play billionaire industrialist/superhero Tony Stark.

"It's right along the lines of our other films, where we cast people who can become the characters," Marvel’s Kevin Feige said, reminding us all that Tobey Maguire have never starred in a comic book flick before SPIDER-MAN happened along.  The first movie will focus on Stark building the suit for the first time and his darker past as a weapons inventor, comics fans will know he later falls into a well of alcoholism. Downey Jr already has the potential for some accurate method acting already...

Favreau will start shooting in February next year for a scheduled May 2008 release date.
