We are mainly interested in the films that usually get short shrift at the Box Office (Or straight to video) and are frowned upon/ignored by the usual cinema going audience but we do try and cover the Hollywood/mainstream films too, as there is occasionally something worth watching. We love mainstream cinema of all varieties but believe there is more than enough material being produced/released in the Indie sector to devote the majority of our attention to. We especially love Independent low to no budget films and will gladly review anything that comes our way.

Bear in mind that just because it cost nothing, does not mean we will forgive a crap story or shoddy performances/production values. No budget is not an excuse for shite and never will be. That is like saying if you had a million dollars you could make a great movie. Well how would you do it if you can't do it at this level, when there is less interference from studios and the 80 or so other people who contribute to making your vision a reality. No money should mean you have to use more ingenuity and pour more heart and soul into a film. We will not applaud the film you took one week to shoot if it is abysmal, just because it took one week and no real heart to make. We will treat it with the same critical attention we dish out to the majors, that way if we applaud your film surely the majors may come knocking on your door, knowing we didn't pander to you and treat you with praise that you didn't deserve.

We want to know who is making both short and full length, Independent and Mainstream films. We don't care if it's shot on video or Super8 in your backyard, starring your best mate Bub or if it is a multi-million dollar Schlockbuster. If it's Horror, Fantasy or Sci-Fi or just a little weird, we want to know about it! We want any bits of Gossip, Film Stills, Scripts, Screeners (DVDs only - WE DO NOT REVIEW FILMS EXHIBITED ONLINE) or website links we can get our grubby blood drenched hands on. We don't do this to make money (but we'd love to be able to) we do it for love.

We love Film! We also love Short Fiction, Novels (Yes we can read) Art, Poetry etc, but there's only so much time and web space available. If you want to submit any non related materials for us to review, please do so, but don't hate us if we choose not to use it.

You will find film news and film gossip (Who's rumoured to be making what, who's just signed on to what film etc), film reviews (We see them so you don't have to - in some cases-, people usually prefer reviews of films by people who love the genre, unlike the usual mainstream media assassination jobs), and details of coming attractions (Both Box office and DVD releases).

We are UK and US based keeping abreast of developments over both sides of the pond.
